minit 0:38 ada penebangan hutan di situ..disitu lah berlakunya tanah runtuh. ditambah pula longkang tepi jalan utama di atas tu ada sedikit kelainan, longkang tersebut ada mengalirkan ke arah tempat farm. jika hujan pastinya air yg deras menuruni ke farm dari air longkang atas di tepi jalan tersebut. video ini boleh dijadikan bukti terdapat penebangan hutan di situ. disitulah berlakunya runtuhan tanah hingga ke bawah. minit 0:38

Oooo dah xde pokok2 sokongan cekam tanah jadi kukuh patut la jadi tanah runtuh. Pokok2 cekam tanah di bawah bukit dah dibuang. Takziah kpd mangsa2 tanah runtuh kat sini.

Government should look into this video. The signs of Erosion began two years ago. The forest 🌳 are uprooted in big sizes. The trees are dying on hillside. The signs are ignored 😢 Landslide in Batang Kali crashed 31 lives in December 2022 😢

Adat camping ni hanya bermula sejak 2020, dulu mmg tak ramai org camping, tapi sejak 2020 disebabkan covid, ramai org tak boleh melancong ke luar negara, jadi mereka bermula buat pelbagai jenis mainan ketika "cuti2 malaysia"

betul..saya pun rase punca nye dari tebang pokok..kalau ikut video ni kelihatan diminit 35 ada kwasan dah digondol.. berdekatan dengan jalan raya..cerum bukit yang ditebang pokok digondol..lama lama tanah nye jadi lembut dan merekah.

Such farms are good for relaxation or as study groups. If only the owners can spend some investment on safety systems or procedures, then they can avoid or prevent such loss of lives. I am all for these farms, they are fantastic projects to allow group activities and provide avenues for research, study, explore and entertainment. Hopefully after this bad tragedy, things will take in new perspectives in the ways things are being done.

Till to date, even the authority acknowledged that, there's no such mandatory "campsite" permit/licence to be acquited/ issued in Malaysia yet? 🙄 Reason is, "camping".tents and activities are not like any permanent structure or building. 🤔 So if anyone happens to know of any new regulation or relevant government dept pertaining to such "permit application"; please advise all the campsite operators in Malaysia ok 😬

If you read land title deeds, all of them has a clause that requires the owner to do maintenance to prevent landslides, or cannot do things that will increase risk of landslide, something along that line.

The whole camp site is cleared for farming vegetables but owner use for camping which is wrong, the whole site in the valley and toe of surrounding slope, the toe has been disturbed and it will give way in someday, the owner should has consulted geologist to get it protected but it was not done, this is owner fault
