@@AerialAg my wife is from Thibodaux...her dad was Dr. Henry Long that taught at Nicholls. her brother Dan (Christina)still live there...yes Krotz Springs....lot of farmland there...I'm from Madison/Richland parish...cotton, corn, wheat, soy beans, rice and some milo

They were planning to clear this field and plant sugar cane which wont be ready to harvest till next year.

Bad enough harvesting it during nicer fall weather on the northern Great Plains, but add in the heat and humidity in Louisiana this time of year…hate to be the guy standing next to the truck dumping into the bins.😮😱
