Would be completely useless in line clearance takes to long than to just hook up and go

I assure you it has many many uses in line clearance including being fast and more efficient than just hook and go. To save time you can just spike up the tree

I’ve watched a ton of climbing videos on here but none get me more fired up than this.

Nice climb and redirecting- good use of the Capt. hook! I also rec climb and I am hopeless when it comes to redirecting but still enjoy being up in the trees. Thanks for the vids, and btw nice gear!

Glad to see you posting again. I always appreciate your tips and insight. I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate a ct rollnlock into a way to capture progress during a traverse. No luck so far. Can't figure out a way to get the ct to release when under tension if necessary.

Awesome climb dude. I like climbing on the RW and a 4/2 VT. Love the cpt hook i should probably get one for the large canopy live oaks here in NW Florida.

I had a similar idea except to use a revolver rig twin and single and rollnlock to make a 3:1 setup with the CPT hook, awesome job, where did you get the retractable throw line device? I want one, lol, thanks for sharing.

Nice… another progressive little climb! The limbs on those young trees are perfect for hours of hook tossing! Good stuff man. I was thinking about that Bennett Hook n wondering if you’d got any more action with it?

Nice to see your still making videos! Any suggestions for finding trees to climb without getting in trouble? I was looking to perhaps buy some cheap land in Wisconsin, but the cheap lots with nice trees are 5 hours drive from me and contain no shelter.

@@AerialTraveler Thanks I appreciate that and your detailed response. Do you own any land your self? If so, any tips? Zillow a good start?

How do you like the rope wrench versus the hitchhiker?

Another great video. I notice when you get into the thinner branches of the canopy, you have multiple tie-in points that are closer together. Is this for extra safety in case a branch breaks. It means that you have reduced your potential fall distance before another attachment takes over?
