Just saw this in Detroit this evening, and this song was one of the most magical live music experiences I've ever had... was trying not to ugly cry in the concert hall.

I was off week before trying to complete the game and go to the last chapter, I've played the OG loads. I knew what to expect but this was first time seeing it, it broke me I got really emotional

Omg incroyable, ce jeu est fou j'en suis à plus de 200h pour le mode normal, j'ai commencé le mode difficile. Quel jeu incroyable, bravo pour l'orchestre

I went to the one in Los Angeles. I am a little disappointed that they didn't use that "scene" for the piece. While I understand the spoiler concern, I just feel that would enhance this performance to a different level...

The scene, including the water burial, wasn’t *actually* present in rebirth. I think they’re holding out for part 3 when cloud finally accepts what’s happened. That’s why they didn’t show it now, it’s still up in the air for the audience to decide if she’s dead or not. Once cloud has his memory trip with tifa in the livestream I think that’s when we’ll get another version of this song

Yeah I saw it in Nashville and was totally expecting the scene. This still hit me emotionally, but if they had used the scene it would have been even more heart wrenching. Still an amazing performance that made me cry.

I saw it in Nashville. I’ll admit I was crying. Such a beautiful piece. I was expecting them to use “that” scene and was going in expecting it and to be very emotional. This still hit hard though! I cried even now watching this video 🥺
