Is this classic laminate theory or something else? In my report I'm trying to explain what classic laminate theory actually does? The rule of mixtures (Voigt-Reuss Model) calculates the in-plane properties so what does the classic laminate theory do? I realise that what you have done is for working out the Modulus in the x - direction for an angular ply, but is that classic laminate theory or does classic laminate theory have another purpose?
