Single crystal casting is not new at all. It was a process developed in manufacturing the J-58. I found that fascinating because my father was telling be about the process when they would make special application fasteners for engine manufacturers.

Why “finally the kinetic energy” ? The graph clearly shows that the exhaust is very fast. Kinetic energy goes with the square of it. There seems to be a nozzle in front of the turbine which already converts any other energy into kinetic energy, which in my book is mechanical energy.

Why not use electrically heated elements in the combustion chamber - no more fuel - and stick an electric generator in the engine.

You are proposing an engine that does not use fuel. An electric generator requires a fuel powered engine to run it so you are back to square one.
