Agreed. If they had an easy to trailer design with wing folding I'd get one. I already own a plane but, I'd love to pull one around the country behind my motor home. Low and slow in Utah, Montana, Arkansas, W VA, would be awesome....

Nice video thanks. Too bad that these bolts/washers/nuts can't be replaced by a bunch of pins with clasps. I've seen some have these and even fold back wings.

I wish the Aerolite 103 had easy folding wings for storage in a garage or trailer so the expense of a hangar is not needed!!

Bingo. These ultralights are for affordable aviation and there is not much affordable about hangar rental in many parts of the country. Where I'm at hangar space is at a premium and you're lucky if you can even find it without driving several hours out of town. I want something I can hangar in a trailer.

The Kolb UL has fast folding wings and is easily trailable as I saw on their web site. Maybe a bit more expensive, but when you factor in the cost of hangar rental vs. an enclosed trailer, I think the Kolb is the way to go! Maybe the guys at the Aerolite factory can come up with a new design with easily folding wings..

Transitioning from hot air ballooning, this disassem/assem is a breeze. 1-1.5 hours disassembly, 2-2.5 hour assembly...... Easy peeze!

designer had no intention to make this easily to dissemble for transportation, this is not the plane for you if you cant hanger it. this is the main reason i cant buy this plane, im my opinion an short range aircraft needs to dissemble easily for transportation

@@sacooper802 Yeah, those Kolbs look good. Unfortunately C-19 has really set their production back (I read). Looks like a year before Kolb will take an order for a FireFly and then you'll get it 18 months later. 2.5 year wait. I'll keep an eye on barnstormers and see if a used one pops up.

It is not a trailer friendly aircraft for sure -- this is for someone that can afford hangar fees.

That is not at all convenient. I really love this plane, but please improve its portability.
