This was a nice surprise. Wasn't expecting one of mine today. I missed what you said about a minute in. Was really interested what you said there Teez, but another great reaction, as always. You were really enjoying that guitar solo, right after you thought it was over. I know a song has you when you close your eyes and start rocking from side to side. And just some sublime work from Joe Perry on this one. And for me, everything that made Aerosmith such a great band is on display here.

When I was a teenager, all the stoner kids liked Aerosmith. Kids you didn't want to mess with most of the time. I found an old paperback titled "Arrowsmith" at the thrift store one day and brought it with me to school. It made me popular with the tough kids for a day or two.

I was an English major, and Arrowsmith was required reading. My grandparents used to have one long wall full of books. They were teachers. This book is one whose title was prominently displayed (seems like it was white lettering on a dark blue background), so the minute I heard these guys’ band name, I made the connection. I love this band and I love this song.

Great song and reaction! The deeper you dig into these guys the better the music gets. Check out "Milk Cow Blues" from the same album. "One Way Street", "St. John" and "Chip Away At The Stone" are a few more excellent deeper cuts.

This is a bit of a forgotten classic. I really love Teez and his evaluations because he won't bullshit. This was a song that was done in a MASSIVE drug haze recorded in an old convent. Joe Perry was shooting off machine guns on coke for some reason at one point. The confusion and anarchy of the whole scene created a patchy LP but this track is amazing. Tyler's vocals are pretty deep.

Early (IMO aka pre- Permanent Vacation) Aerosmith is so grimy and dirty with their feel for the blues.... I got a chance to get into that era with them last fall when I decided to get their entire catalog. Its a much different sound than the material they are doing now. I did like the Draw the Line album and this song is one of the standout tunes on it IMO.

Incredible. SO...man, way back when I went to a record store to pick up the single for Come Together by Aerosmith from a movie soundtrack made of Beatles songs. They didn't have it, so I grabbed Got To Get You Into My Life by Earth Wind and Fire (totally kick ass version, BTW). My brother grabbed this single, just to have it - and we both ended up playing this thing for hours and hours. The B-Side was Get It Up, which is not the best Aerosmith song, but still one of the better off this album. Anyway, thanks for bringing this memory back for me.

I was the one who requested this. I'm not all that surprised that Teez hadn't done Aerosmith yet as he usually gets more eclectic choices than most channels, and a lot of Aerosmith is fairly popular. I like most of their popular stuff (though I can get tired of the power ballads at times), but Kings and Queens one has always been a favourite of mine. There's just something different about it compared to their other stuff, while still remaining totally Aerosmith. Fever is another good one, and a deeper cut too.

as I said on other comment the solo here was played by Brad Whitford, If my memory doesn't fail me he co-wrote this song with Steven Tyler... Whitford played more lead guitar than people usually acknowledge. I like more Perry's unusual approach but Whitford work and harmonizations alongside Perry is the engine to Aerosmith sound

Teez is awesome! Always mellow and feeling the music. And FUNNY! Not funny like Leo's clowning, but he makes normal human goofs and doesn't edit out his mistakes, so I love it. But he's also funny, like his sense of humor and way of looking at things. Some reactors are too slick and it takes the fun out.

I've requested at least 20 songs from Teez (my current list has about 20 songs left on it lol), and of all my requests, I think there's only 1 he hasn't loved. He didn't dislike that one, but it wasn;t a "oh wow, that's a great song" reaction. Teez has a very wide range of music he likes so I am sure he will like whatever you choose.

My god, where to begin? First of all, without Aerosmith there is no Guns N Roses or Bon Jovi as we know them. Not only did Aerosmith influence both bands musically, if you can't see Steven Tyler's influence on Jon Bon Jovi's and Axl Rose's styles, then you are willfully blind. As for saying Aerosmith "had a following", that's like saying Steven Spielberg's movies are somewhat popular. Then claiming that "even Bon Jovi outsold these guys", well brace yourself because I've got some news for you. Total sales worldwide - Guns N Roses - 100 million, Bon Jovi - 130 million, Aerosmith 150 million. Care to amend your statement? A stattement that barely even makes sense to begin with.
