I was there that day and man these guys literally made that old stadium SHAKE! It was truly epic!

That entire day was epic when 45,000 people could come together and rock that night of stadium to its very core and just be with the music!

I’ve seen numerous live shows but seeing Aerosmith w/ Jackal in the summer of 93’ was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to! Jackal was just crazy a$$ fun (chainsaw song lol)and Aerosmith played for 2hrs 40 min non stop! The next day my buddy & I saw Steven Tyler & Joe Perry in the lobby. I went up & introduced myself to Steven Tyler & thanked him for a kick a$$ show because we drove 250 mi. Other than Jani Lane (rip) of Warrant… Steven Tyler was the most genuine coolest dude to meet & bs w/ for a couple min. Joe Perry was a little stand offish but Tyler made up for it & than some! Aerosmith rocked RFK!! Great set!

Aero is in the top 6 bands of all time- I would put them in this order: Beatles, Stones, The Who, The Doors, Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Springsteen, Eagles, AC/DC, Queen, Deep Purple, CCR, Yes, Steve Miller, Deep Purple, The Police.

I was there, no one knew who the presenters were going to be. When Stamos came out thousands of women screamed "uncle Jesse!" for an eternity. I also love how Steven dropped F bombs on ABC and they played Just Push Play!

They played that stadium on their own in the 70’s. You don’t make a huge comeback like they did if you weren’t already big before. Very few others have done similar, Stones, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Green Day, to name a few.

Outrider775 ozzy never did a stadium tour . he wasn’t big enough even in his prime . he did festivals and bills with some other bands but ozzy was arenas . sabbath and solo .

After St. Anger they won a grammy for their song "My Apocalypse", released their first thrash record since 1988 which was "Death Magnetic" and were inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame. They then embarked on a huge world tour, later released "Hardwired" and have since made a comeback with their album "72 Seasons" and have had a very successful tour as well.
