those things on the wing, i think they are vortexes, where the diffrence in pressures create this ontop and under the wing. wingtips were intoduced to reduce this.

Another great sim. Thanks, Matt for that. I'm a big fan of your stuff and Paul's as well. There's one thing that I'd like. Part of what makes it a sim to me is hearing the passengers board and the cabin crew greeting them, then the safety messages, and the tower and ground crew. In this one, there's also the co-pilot going through the checklist. I know this is probably boring to you, but it for me it would be nice if you didn't talk over it. I love your stuff and hope you don't take this too critically. I'll continue watching and up-thumbing anyway.

You could do a series of flights around different countries in the world and get people to vote on the best routes and then at the end you could re-fly the best routes. You could do Australia, all of Asia, New Zealand, the Galapagos islands. There are sooooo many possibilities!

Excellent video, I've flown from Gibraltar (my home airport) to LiverPEWL several times until EZY axed the route a couple of years ago. Normally when you leave Gibraltar to the UK you take the following route: LXGB - PIMOS - MGA - BLN, following the routes up to the UK. It's a shame that GIB doesn't have any SIDS or STARS, but it's all good fun as it's visual :)

Hey Matt, the term you're looking for at 28:00 is estuary! Great vid, love the cinematic shots. Can you do more failure management videos? I remember seeing a double engine failure on one of your Ryanair flights that was pretty cool. It just breaks up the norm. intentional or not it would be good to see how to manage change - or a weather diversion after a failed approach - just anything that involves more management of the aircraft or systems would be good. Keep it up. :)

Brilliant! Highly informative and entertaining as ever. I really appreciate your videos. As you're asking, one suggestion I have for a future video - which would help me and maybe others a lot, is a demo of a flight in the feelthere Embraer 175 - if you have one that is - and particularly if you could mirror the Flybe EGHI to LFRN route. I'm a newbie (and no youngster!) and I'm struggling to get beyond the one training flight they give you - KIAD to KRDU (complete with errors and typos) in the manual. Attention to the logic behind the routing and the operation of the AP etc along the way would be really good.... but I'll carry on watching your videos even if you can't!! :-D

This is in Europe, but it's a great approach- Innsbruck in Austria (not sure of the registration) has an awesome approach through a valley and in fog is very interesting. I don't know if you have done this before, but if you haven't, it would be quite a cool video.

Great video as usual matt 👍 The wing effects: I believe it is condensation at the wingtip due to the higher pressure difference bettween the top and bottom of the wing when under higher loads in a turn. Can I have 10 points?

wingtip vortices caused by the higher pressure air under the wing leaking upward around the wingtip seeking the lower pressure area above, which creates drag. :)
