We watched this so many times when we were younger! I loved these stories. It was funny when someone asked me why I thought Aesop was black. I told them, "'Cause Bill Cosby is Aesop!"

I remember as a kid I was very worried about my state exams for English and Math. I was freaking out the weekend before these exams and watched this video, having found it in my Grandmas VHS stash. the video made me very happy and calmed me down. PS I passed my exams!

I find it entertaining that despite Greek characters being normally played by whites (and quite reasonably so), Bill Cosby playing Aesop is absolutely correct because the real Aesop was a black man.

Caant find a damn good-copy of this online, Except in grainy-copies like here. And while im grateful youve posted it, Im dissapointed that you didnt include the opening-titles with the shoe-strings or the sun-beams or whatever it was at the start of the video before the actual video started. Thats part of the magic of this presentation after all. Hellywood didnt like wholesome things like Bill Cosby, The courts didnt like anyone wholesome like Bill Cosby, And the circus-clowns like at google or even in most media-preservations dont like anyone wholesome like Bill Cosby, Intent as ever on erasing, Ignoring and pretending this man wasnt genuine, Meanwhile shrugging at real criminals who prey(ed) on people who roam free in the world because reasons, Tolerated by bad-souls. Filmation when he did Fat Albert from the 70's & he's a great cartoon comedian & voice actor from back in the day. And also he was well known as Dr Huxtable on The Cosby Show & I saw him in three movies Ghost Dad The Meteor Man. And Fat Albert & Kenan Thompson was Fat Albert that's Kel Mitchell's friend & Bill Cosby was a Ledgend in comedy. u really need to do your research, do u know of a subject called biology and evolution? evolution states how a species adapts to its environment thus becoming diverse. white is albino, meaning they have no skin pigments. pigments protect the skin from sunrays, the more sun, the more pigments in the skin. aesop is recorded as being an ethiopian. how can u not know about basic biology?
