It’s not an official comeback, it an SM's project for remastering. This is a remake from S.E.S. who did Dreams Come True in 1998. You probably haven't heard of S.E.S., the first ever kpop girl group and they are from SM too. This song is very popular and successful from back then. The robot rap was in the original s.e.s music video as well!

Quick background/context for the song: SM had most of their groups do a SMTOWN winter 2021 album with either new original songs or remakes of their older songs. In this case BOA (a late 1st gen idol) was in charge of remixing a song from 1998 called Dreams Come True by S.E.S (early 1st gen) who had covered/redone the song from a Finnish Band called “Nylon-Beat” released in 1996. Aespa was chosen to perform it and parts (like the back beat and the beginning/some raps) are modern takes on the song whereas the parts after “let’s bring is back to 90s” are exactly like the original :) Even the music video incorporated references and concepts from the original while also keeping it modern :)

Their third official activity is over, but they are extending their activities with 'Dreams Come True' and 'Step Back' (by 'GOT the Beat') for a while as event projects. The fourth official comeback following 'Savage' will be between April and May this year.
