I can see that SME's goal with aespa isn't solely focused on creating or breaking records. SME is showcasing these girls' incredible musicality. I mean, no one saw this concept coming. It's fresh. A Christmas-y song in February? They are defying rules. SME is proud of these talents' vocals. Literally, all of them are vocalists. That part which they take turns in making ad libs and runs is just pure art! SME had always prioritized their artists' singing prowess. I love this music!

For the people hating on them, this is a cover of a prexisting song by another SM artist. They are showing their diversity and that every member has a beautifull voice even if their position isnt vocalist. Red Velvet and SNSD also did a cover as their 2nd single and recieved hate for it, and in the end both have been among the most popular girlgroups.
