your version being more cinematic than the original....although i kinda wish you didn't remove the rock part BUT THE TENSION ON THE GEAR UP PART AND THE RELEASE IS EAR CANDY!!!! and how you used illusion as the "enemy's speech" before the "battle" and the sm growl sample being everywhere in the song is so so smart the problem i have with the original is how the drums sounded so distant (especially the snare) and how they just randomly decided to change the key on the dance break WHILE the vocals being on the SAME KEY (and them clashing together 😟😟) overall you genuinely never miss

I wanted to fully love the original but the verses are holding me back. I've wished that the whole song sounded like the dance break instrumentals because those were fire, BUT NOW THIS. The pulsating electronic riff in the verses and chorus makes a lot of difference. I love how the song did a "Next Level" by breaking down some expectations in the second chorus. The way the song transitioned into the Black Mamba part, and how it goes into the cyber dance break is so satisfying. Then, the song trails off in "mission accomplished," giving a sense of triumph and resolve* on the badass action that just happened. It felt like watching a cyberpunk movie. edit: i meant "resolution," not "resolve."
