The Aespa and Newjeans drama is caused by Min hee Jin and Bang PD during their whole scandal as MHJ mentioned Aespa multiple times and claimed that BPD told her to "crush" Aespa which caused many MY's and Kpop fans to accuse Newjeans of getting all their achievements through chart manipulation and payments by Hybe, some even joked that despite all this Aespa is still more talented than their groups ( which in my opinion is subjective).

@@8skzxstayBunnies and MYs have been arguing before the MHJ-HYBE conflict. New Jeans is too popular to have manipulated charts. Their songs were so popular that many non k-pop fans know them. Aespa’s music doesn’t appeal to the general public at all-only fans that love their style and concept. New Jeans has a very digestible sound that most people can enjoy. Also, companies will always be in competition with each other, and SM’s Aespa which is a very popular group is obvious threat to HYBE. CEOs have nothing to do with the idols themselves. People need to stop comparing idols and bashing them for everything and then pretend to care about mental health. Idols don’t know their fans so bashing other groups to feel better about their own group is very weird.

There was never any drama between between aespa and NJ. It was just Hybe being jealous of aespa's popularity and success. Had nothing to do with the girls on either side
