When putting the monitor on the monitor arm you should have noticed that the latch button is in the way. So you should have installed the standoffs... And try again.

I just bought a random brand in the local store. Before taping, you need to clean the surface and it will hold well. I have no problem with the tape so far

Nice clean setup. But that open air lamp on the left must be super distracting when it gets dark and bad for your eyes. Better to have a light bar or some backlight instead of a strong point light source.

If the cables are too heavy, they won't stick for long. You may need more tape or split them into smaller pieces to put them in the cable organizer.
