It's not really that big of a deal. As long as you're not blocking the vents, it's fine, especially if you're not pushing the laptop too hard anyways.

@BigTylt the vents are not the only cooling components of a laptop. There is a reason why the body is made of metal. If you open some laptops you'll see a heating pad on top of things like the ssd. The heat from that is dispersed through the body.

I rarely see an unboxing XPS laptop video that aesthetic like this, most videos are about Macbooks. Therefore, i really enjoy watching this and btw i also own a Dell XPS 13 too, i absolutely like using it.

@@aritanashrah4661if you are low on money, you can’t get a better deal than an M series MacBook Air. All these windows ultrabooks of similar specs cost an arm and a leg and cheaper versions are inferior in power to even the cheapest M1 macs. I recently sold my M1 Pro Mac (doesn’t differ in cpu with normal M1) to buy a maxed out Razer Blade 14 of the same year, it’s 2500$+ and it’s cpu (Ryzen 9 5900HX) is only slightly faster than the base M1 of a MacBook Air that you can get used for less than 600$, or new for about 700-800$

If you don’t wanna use a Mac or you don’t like MacOS and prefer using Windows (like me), this is one of the best choice in Windows Laptops for students in social science or economy major. As an user of Dell XPS 13 9305 for about 2 years (2021 - 2023), i absolutely like it, everything that you need in studying or entertainment like browsing web and watching films, except playing games. About the battery life, I think it’s not that bad, for the first years i used it, it was about 8 hours or more, now it’s about 5 hours or sometimes 6. In my opinion, I rate this is worthy and actually a good ultrabook laptop.

I can play league on it with 120+ frames plugged in or not. on the dell I was able to run league with around the same amount of frames too. the macbook has been very fast and I use it for hours a day for school. I'd say if you already use apple products you should get a macbook just cause it makes everything so much more convenient as all the devices sync.
