I love seeing people discover the absolute madness that is Helldivers. Its as close as were ever guna get to a 40k imperial guard game

@@shosetsuka dark tides fine but every fat shark game is the same thing and DT cant fully capture the scale of 40k as long as its only foot soldiers

You know...... it brings a tear to my eye.... knowing theres planets out there devoid of any freedom and tainted by free health care. It helps to think of home. It brings me warmth remembering those good old fashioned values upon which we use to thrive. Through fire and war, we shall set any and all planets free from the consequences of their own actions. Fighting the bugs in this game is the closest I've come to finding an enjoyable Starship Troopers game and I am so here for it.

Yeah, there was a nice ST game last year if I'm not mistaken, but yeah, this is better. I already liked the first Helldivers, but this takes it much further.

I think a big part of the Team kill fun is the pure fact that there is very limited punishment with limited quick respawns. If the penalty was the cooldown from the get go it would be vastly more frustrating for everyone involved.

Lol Nyan would make a terrible soldier. It was funny hearing tectone and aethel with the soldier RP and poor Nyan trying to participate but ultimately getting drowned out because of her dainty quiet voice 😂

Starship troopers was a book written in like the 60s made into a movie. By the guy from robocop, I don't see that director suing anybody since he took the work from someone else and then satired it.

He didn't even satire it properly he got bored a few pages in then had someone give him a really crappy synopsis of it. It wasn't even supposed to be a Starship troopers movie to begin with it was originally called something to the effect of "Bughunt at Outpost 9" that was a third of the way through production someone got the idea to buy the book rights then tack on the Starship Troopers IP. The director Paul Verhoeven 2 of his 3 most remembered movies (Starship Troopers and Total Recall) is him essentially mocking and tearing down other peoples work without taking the time to understand the source material. Its disrespectful and the times he was questioned about it he was either flippant or snide about it. What's worse is that due to all the legal red tape the actual fans of the books he butchered will not get to see a book accurate movie in a long long time. In the case of Starship Troopers people have been trying for over 20 years and the closest adaption was made by the Japanese in the 80's.

@@happyjohn354It gets even funnier when you realize that he didn’t even do the satire correctly I imagine most people wouldn’t have known that it was a satire if not for his statements. It really is a pro humanity movie through and through I never got the impression that the Federation was corrupt when I was younger so idk maybe I dumb or something but to me it just seemed like an advanced version of our society that was facing extinction. I never liked the idea that the bugs were innocent in the conflict as you can see them LITERALLY INVADING COLONIES and annihilating entire populations but yeah sure the bugs rights matter 🙄. So in short service guarantees citizenship and I’m doing my part in the event of a bug invasion!

@@happyjohn354 There was the Roughnecks TV series. It may have had Verhoeven as an exec producer but the show still took more material from the book than the movie.

motion blurs only purpose is basically for racing games without it you never really feel like going fast turning an exciting game like need for speed underground into a casual troll

Motion blur will never be a good thing in video games because human eyes don't actually "See" motion blur on a regular basis. Motion blur only happens when someone moves their head while keeping their eyes fixed in their skull or (staring). We don't typically do this because it's disorienting. Usually our eyes immediately pin point an object and fix on it without experiencing the motion blur effect.
