The defense consists of Heiðrún, Brave Robin, Pirate Surtr, Gatekeeper, Duo Winter Byleth, Attuned Ivy, and Freyr. Main purpose of the main are first to prevent Emblem Celica from killing Byleth with Hardy Bearing (he can still die in one hit). Second to force Ike to tank Hush Spectrum debuff if he runs with Attuned Micaiah (harder to pull off on first version of this map). Third to prevent Celica ring Felix from warping in due to Gatekeeper and Divine Vein Ice.
Map works decently but still loses to a number of Emblem Ikes due to kill power. Also has a weakness to fliers with canto, which people tend to not run other than Attuned Micaiah mostly.

Keep Alfonse. Even at vanilla from the spark and unmerged, he can still reach 99 defense on his own after 4 mythic boosts to his defense and a seal. He's the only unit in the game so far that can reach a base 99 in 2 different stats with max investment, but if you want cheap an unmerged one is best for 99 defense over 99 attack he can set himself for. His skills debuffing foe's attack based on true defense also means after a certain threshold, nothing can really hurt him anymore lol. The biggest trick to Alfonse is figuring out how to build the map around him. But once he gets going, nothing can break him, making him excellent for AR defense.

@@black-redpill3 I haven’t seen much Alfonse maps yet so can’t see it till it happens. I had one in mind but doesn’t work due to his 4 movement. I still haven’t picked my free one. I’m in no rush since I still have Robin and Bernadetta

@@lanuigiFEH Could we perhaps exchange friend codes? My anima season map is dedicated to giving Alfonse a safe turn and an opening to attack through. You can even build a similar map for light season and pair him with Mila for even faster Great Tactics boosts. You'd be more than welcome to test against it in mock battles if you want to see him in action. I did make the map kinda merciful by choosing to not slap 4 Thrasir's on it, as I can't get successful defense scores if everyone avoids challenging the map lol. It should at least help either way in deciding on what to do with yours once you see a neutral IV one in action.

The Lunge skill doesn't work with the Ice Terrain apparently. Yea you definitely need more than 1 unit to takeout Ile it's usually a team effort

That's good info to note. Thanks. I was trying to lunge on the bolt trap actually though. And yeah definitely need a collaborative effort to take out Ike. Hopefully next week goes better

Awesome I haven't blessed all my defense unit's & mainly no losses offense has been terrible for me barely tier 35 so far 🙂.
