the difference is the revolt mechanic which will only last for aether revolt and maybe amon cat like energy or every other new mechanics

Not really, triggering revolt is easy with plenty of cards from older sets. Fatal push will be a modern mainstay for years to come! Energy is completely different, it's parasitic and not compatible with older formats.

I opened a Kaladesh box with 7 mythics, + foil mythic + an invention. Obviously on the extreme end. But Rudy opens boxes for a living, his reactions were way over the top for what isn't that exceptional.

my experience (just opening packs randomly at Target, or from an LGS) is that opening packs for the second set you are just "more lucky" and with the inventions you have more opportunities to get good rares.

I guess it's my turn to answer this time. They aren't prize boxes, ordering 20+ cases at a time gets your product to you faster than ordering 3. A great many vendors have their product and are furiously cracking for the singles market. Those vendors are free to record their openings and broadcast them any time after the full set is spoiled.

I feel like Aether Revolt has an abundance of mythics. I was at a sort of prerelease event but after the launch, I opend 6 boosters and got a foil Ajani Unyielding. I also got some others that are awesome.

I don't see Fatal Push dropping much, maybe $3.50 at the cheapest while in standard and maybe down to $3 after it rotates out of standard (assuming Frontier doesn't become even bigger by this point), but after awhile it will go back up assuming it doesn't get reprinted because of a set specific mechanic.

I bought the smaller box of aether revolt today, the ones that come with a spin down and 10 packs, didn't do too bad. No invention, unfortunately. Still holdig my breath for a foil Mox Opal but regardless it wasn't that bad and of the 10 packs I got 3 Fatal Push! When the set first came out I probably bought a booster box worth and only got one... now I have a playset within less than a week.
