The ithaqua could've just hit the grave keeper instead since the cipher machine was primed in the first match.

It's likely he wasn't sure if it was really close to primed yet or not. He took a risk and it didn't pay off. Most survivors don't heal their teammates at death chair like that unless that final cipher is close, which it wasn't, but he didn't know. The other issue is he just wasn't using his abilities to their fullest extent, seemed like he was still a bit newish to using Ithaqua.

That hunter could have used the yank back ability and it would have been over, but he didn't use his abilities well, you can tell they're kinda newish to using him.
