AETN, Arkansas, Sign-Off 7/30/1988

Arkansas (You Run Deep in Me) by Wayland Holyfield
Channel 13 analog TV fringe reception received near Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
AETN's sign-off video was changed throughout the years with different footage compiled.
I believe this version was narrated by Jerry Pitcock in 1986.
There was an extended version broadcast at the start of the day.
This version of the sign-off was broadcast 7/30/1988 after Doctor Who: The Caves of Androzani (1984). The last time AETN ever aired that Doctor Who movie.
The Doctor Who series was dropped completely in September 1988 and was never seen again on AETN. This is from an old VHS recording.

Thanks for this! I missed this version of the video of "Arkansas You Run Deep In Me". All I found elsewhere was that latest version, but this one was the one I was more fond of. Good to finally see it again! 👍

ON THE DATE THE SIGNOFF WAS PRODUCED: I think the signoff itself dates to 1987, Hence that was the year Arkansas (You Run Deep In Me) Became the State Song. I also believe that later on, Possibly in the early 1990s, the Signoff film was updated again to have the Full Song played. (That version was the one seen on the Analog Sign off)

AETN is now Arkansas PBS to this day and always Arkansas, and from the conclusion of its schedule broadcasting for the day, they play "Arkansas (You Run Deep In Me) (Part 2) by Wayland Holyfield. And this song was heard in its entirety, when AETN concluded its analog broadcast signal on June 12, 2009 as their statewide network of stations went to all digital broadcast signals now to this day.
