Not to be rude but high notes aren't synonym with good technique. Also, at times, the vocalists of some groups are better than the main vocalists from other groups. Think snsd's vocal line. Sunny, Tiffany, and Seohyun, or Wheein from mamamoo are all lead vocalists and better in terms of a healthy singing technique than half of this list.

in my opinion Solji, Taeyeon, Eunji and Solar have much better techniques and more experience than Yuju. Solji's been singing for over 10 years and has been a vocal coach for EXID before joining the group, so she's my number 1 always.

taetitties i dont even listen to exid and i dont understand korean to understand what solji was singing here but...damn its so powerful that i teared up...from a 10 seconds clip. yuju deserves to be (at the very least) top 5/top 8 but yes, solji, taeyeon, eunji, and solar’s vocals are just way up there. i think when all of these great vocalists with the best techniques and skills are compared against one another, the delivery and the emotion of each vocalist’s bring to their singing becomes one of the deciding factor. yuju is extremely great but her delivery/emotions are not quite up there yet, maybe because she’s still a rookie (compared to taeyeon, solji, eunji, and solar ofc).

That is kinda wrong, i hate how people just focus on high notes, some singers who cannot hit high notes, but they are incredibly good singers as they can hit good low notes instead of high notes. Honestly, i don't totally agree with this list, i understand that high notes are important, but high notes are definitely not the most improtant, there are also low notes, deep voice, and other good singers whose ranking are very low on this list. Ofc there are some perfect singers that we all know they should be in the top as tayeon,solar,yuju,etc, actually tayeon and solar and yuji definitely deserves to get the top 3 spots in this list, and that is what i only actually agree about, the rest of the ranking is horrible, and some deserves to be in a higher ranking in my opinion.

As a buddy myself, I don't know about placing Yuju above the SOLAR, the WENDY, the one and only TAEYEON on the main vocalist list. Honestly. Most people and even I, would get eyes wide confused and conclude that you must be out of your damn mind... but hey respect.

What are the factors to rank their vocal like this? When we talk about vocal, we need to consider many things : vocal tech (including breath/support, agility, sense of pitch, placement, developed register etc.) , interpretation and singing style. But the last two tend to be subjective. So vocal techs are the only thing that can be used to rank vocalists. Even though I disagree with something like vocal rank or compare one vocalist with the other, but it would be good for those who want to learn singing (including me). I wouldnt say that the rank here is invalid or something, cause it's the owner of video preferences. But can I say something? I love Yuju a lot, she is my ultimate bias, but technically Wendy and Taeyeon still better.

An important thing to include technic, emotion (feeling they bring), tone, and others. I think that's the right thing to judge a vocal not just highnote. I can't imagine suhyun got a really low rank with her one in a million soft powerful vocal, her noteasytoreach highnote, her vocal control and emotion she gives on every song she brought. Disney princess vocaist indeed. And taeyeon's timbre, tone, technic, emotion are just a combination of world's beauty. Like a magic, she can makeall song sounds amazing. Queen!
