I think it has to do with the booking and presentation of it in NJPW that makes it special that the viewer doesn’t get to see in aew. In Japan, he’ll stand in the middle of the ring and raise his hands to signal for it. In which case the camera will zoom out showing the crowd. The commentary team gives an energetic reaction during this to hype the audience for what they expect will be the big finish. Okada picks up his opponent and does the rainmaker to a roaring response from commentary and most importantly, the fans in the building. Here he just hits it without any kind of setup. Either aew makes it a big deal or okada may have to switch to his tombstone piledriver as his finisher after hitting the drop kick.
