What does it matter? The Young Bucks are not dropping the titles to them at the paper view. That is why this style of booking is silly. You have this match on your television show and then you turn around and have the same match on your paper view and expect people to buy it. Tony needs to bury these eliminator matches and just do a traditional build up to a title match.

If a champion loses a match, they better be losing their title, it really is that simple. Otherwise you are ultimately just setting everyone involved up to look stupid, especially if the challenger ends up losing. Either you beat your champions twice, and REALLY make them look bad, or both champion and challenger take a loss that make both of them look bad and ultimately feels like a huge waste of time that makes you wonder why they did the eliminator in the first place? And when the challenger loses the eliminator...WHY NOT JUST PROMOTE IT AS A TITLE MATCH TO BEGIN WITH!? It's a terrible, pointless concept and I wish every company would stop doing them.

You can make a tag team the top attraction if they pursue a faction and have a “non champion” ie a defeated baby face that your guy can’t lose to over serious personal misgivings. The Young Bucks should prioritize control of the title over loyalty to the titleholder through this formula where they crown and protect a champion with their faction, but if this personal enemy beats their guy (despite lots of assistance), they seek a new champion, push the defeated one down to the group, and allow an internal challenge for the belt within the faction on a limited basis. You could control AEW. But not with an ally, but a sworn enemy.
