The Elite were absolutely brilliant in this match. They knew how they would be received and they reacted accordingly. Anybody that underestimated them or think they were gonna tuck their tales. By the end of the match they had that crowd in the palm of their hands. Whether you cheered or booed. They are just so great at what they do and the disrespect shown to CM Punk in this match in front of his hometown was absolutely legendary. They did something thought to be impossible they got half of a Chicago crowd to turn on CM Punk. It was brilliant.

IF PAC loses to the Elite… then I’m going to say that I’m sick of PAC being the sacrificial lamb that’s always led to slaughter often at the hands of Omega. This is a natural medium-term storyline that SHOULD payoff with PAC winning the heavyweight title by beating Kenny during a tournament. Otherwise PAC can’t be taken as a singles competitor because it shows the blatant favoritism if TK & AEW doesn’t reward their workhorses like PAC. I’m sick of PAC losing when just as if not more talented than any member of the Elite

I could totally see this being a in the moment decision, I could see it being premeditated if they boo decision & since tk has a little history of stubbornness & turning situations into storylines along with Kenny’s “let it go & move on” comments, I could see cm punk coming back next year
