As a photographer/videographer, that had me in tears. My guess is the cameraman has a 16-35mm lens on or something that can't zoom like the kinds of camera setups they would use in the ring. The set is also lit specifically for where they're sitting so, when he moved close enough to read it, it was outside the light and no way it would be readable through the lens. Definitely a fail and, like you said, that made it absolutely hilarious as Sonjay knows what he's doing with camera instructions (just wrong camera setup lol).

Sonjay is such a valuable asset for AEW. He clearly gets along with so many people, has a great eye as a producer, works great with Satnam (who's still very green and dealing with a language barrier but is learning and seems to be polite and eager to learn). Him breaking right at the start pretty much made it clear where this interview was going!

AEW has so much amazing talent, i feel like its almost impossible for everyone to get the screen time they deserve. I didn't expect much from this episode of Hey! EW, but now I freakin' love the vibe of these guys. You always see Sonjay as some weaselly little guy, but dude's funny, and i had no idea he's so accomplished. I always leave Hey! EW thinking "this person deserves more screen time". The company just has too much potential to balance it all, but I'm sure they'll figure it out. I'm definitely here for it!
