Taking time to talk to the crowd about a real issue and then turning it seamlessly into promo for match is pure professionalism. Every wrestler needs to take notes on this.

Unfortunately; that level of mic skills, is innate. It can’t be taught. Even if it’s a shoot promo. Paul Heyman CM Punk MJF Eddie Kingston Jon Moxley The Rock John Cena These are all guys; who belong on the Mt. Rushmore, of mic skills. A person either has charisma, or they don’t.

My (own) demons chose the most unusual of "convenient, good" predicaments in which to visit me last night, the evening of Saturday, June 25, 2022. Their visit used a former, oddly-indirect vessel as its catalyst and was to the point where I literally found myself TWICE talking to "them/them in-the-air" telling them to get the f*** away from me because they had no earthly business messing with me and the (great) strides I've been making for myself in the last 6 months - 1 year at least. I was literally telling this indirect vessel it had nothing on me and would not because (1) I had and HAVE the power to not allow them to harm me (unless I give them that power) and (2) I know this vessel is not me; my accomplishments, I can only hope, can and will eventually be much more "grand" than it ever shall be. #2 there is a slight presumption I know, yes; but it helps alleviate myself of the symptomatic triggers fueling it; for now, at least. Hopefully, one day soon, for altogether gone forever.

Don’t be fooled. Any real world issue is nothing but Kayfabe, a smartly executed shoot. You do know this is standard marketing ploy to get you hooked even more into the narrative of the show. It’s storytelling 101. Incorporating someone’s personal issues into the programming of their show. It allows the performers to connect to their audience better. Honestly this should have been something they could have kept under-wraps but they decided to exploit it just to get more views. This is pro-wrestling after all. Don’t be fooled. This ks nothing more then “enhancing the product.”

Jon Moxley is one guy that puts everything he has into his job and family. Jon is one strong bad ass for standing up and knowing he needs help and that's half the battle. He needs to put just as much of his heart and soul into himself as he does in the ring and with his family and friends. He needs to put himself first sometimes as everyone needs to. Much love and respect to you Jon Moxley.!!!!

What I'm most excited for is when Mox returns, when he's mentally healthy and legitimately feels good. The pop will be amazing and not just because he's returning to wrestling after an absence but because when he's feeling right and he's truly feeling better, that shit radiates. I feel that he's gonna kick ass with treatment, become the best version of himself, for himself and as a result, his family, friends and all us wrestling fans will feel it too. Regardless of what his character or storyline is when he's back, the sheer joy of his healthier presence is gonna spread like wildfire and it's gonna kick so much ass. Get better, Mox!

Wonderful segment. Punk/AEW addressed the Mox situation in a tasteful way and took it as an example for people to get help, while also seamlessly building towards the Kingston match. Saying he's responsible we don't get Danielson/Punk is probably the only situation you have him booed

The fact cm punk came out and talks directly to the crowd and says. Here's the deal, our boy mox will be gone for bit in rehab. Shows a lot of respect to mox himself allowing others to use this as a workable piece. But more the fact tony Khan and everyone there in aew wants mox back healty and mentaly back. Not just for the company but for rennie.

The most beautiful thing about AEW is when Tony Khan said that Mox was entering rehab he said that Jon had "allowed" him to let the fans know. I would imagine that leaving details about your personal life private while working for AEW is something that the talent holds dear, just like when Brodie fell ill and AEW was silent about it per his request.

I feel like Punk was definitely the right guy to do this promo. It just felt right, and it all felt so genuine, and he was able to express himself in that way only he could. I just hope this program with Kingston doesn't lead to a heel Kingston, I can't wait for Friday, I feel like these two are going to rock the world with their promo on Friday. Eddie is so good at bringing real into his promos, I'd love to see this be a thing where he was so emotional because of what was going on with Mox, combined with what Danielson said to him, and it just pushed him over the edge on Punk. But all of this has pushed him to want to be better, and in order to achieve that, he needs to beat Punk. Or Punk wants to help Eddie get the respect he deserves. I know these two can figure out something legendary, I am just excited for Rampage.

The one thing I’m always gonna give Punk credit for is that he knows how to make everything his says into a storyline, using real life and wrestling together it’s what’s made him the most popular guy this past decade always playing the line of both sides and giving an authentic feel to what he does.

I saw a certain group of people mocking this decision yesterday....but I applaud Jon...as a victim of addiction, I can hand on heart say his baby girl will love him for trying...the hardest disease in the world to beat, but he has some strong people behind him to carry him when he waivers ....if the world ever feels like its gonna swallow you whole...SPEAK To SOMEONE 💙 you're never alone
