Could have wrestlers of the same nationality fight each other for the opportunity to represent their country in the tournament so the likes of Katsuyori Shibata vs Konosuke Takeshita vs Kazuchika Okada and Penta El Zero Miedo vs Rey Fenix vs RUSH , Buddy Matthews vs Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Davis, other wrestlers getting in just on the basis they are the only wrestler of their nationality in the company such as Angelico for South Africa, Malakai Black for the Netherlands, Jay White for New Zealand, Claudio Castagnoli for Switzerland etc.
