How can this be a main event of any show? Seriously, this is why people have turned off dynamite. Cassidy is a cos player wrestler, and yuta can work but just has no personality. Trying to get someone to shell out what $50 for a ppv with orange in the main event is crazy. I really want the old AEW back, come on tony, you know you can get back to the good old days, just reset, and take some experienced veterans on board for booking.

“It can’t be a single wrestler, they’d be outnumbered!” Yes, because that’s how numbers work. “It needs to be the whole locker room clearing out to help!” Does it, though? It’s 4 guys and a girl. And, realistically, it’s too many competing storylines. An invasion angle works best if that’s the only angle. Think nWo, ECW, the actual Invasion. You can break into other angles after, split your midcarders out into their own feuds and such, but if you’re gonna attack “the company,” the company’s gotta be involved. The fact that some of your biggest stars seemingly couldn’t care less kinda weakens the impact. And let’s be even more kayfabe realistic: the Death Riders vs the Hurt Syndicate? End of storyline. Even with the numbers advantage, they’re getting manhandled. I don’t mind this Mox “takeover” thing; I just think for the most succinct, impactful storytelling, you need to center it as THE thing, not just one of the things.

Moxley's formula really hasn't changed since The Shield days, has it? He runs out after a match and jumps someone in the ring, nobody comes out to help, he leaves, and then thats it.... These angles always start with some cryptic words that sound cool and get you hooked, but then it never gets past that and then just devolves into this every week...
