Emotions run wild at seeing this. Having been born and raised outside of our home land, I often feel disconnected and at times ashamed at my distance from my culture. But an innate pull brings me always back and I find my self yearning to learn and study more so I find myself reading as much as I can but truth be told, it’s not quite the full immersion I see hear! Thanks to the wonderful organisers and teachers of these programs! Malo Le tauivi I mea lelei.

I can’t believe I missed this. It’s good to see local Samoans from Seattle and Tacoma that I’ve known for years that are still upholding the culture. It warms my heart to see this. Looking forward to your return to Seattle/ Tacoma, AF101.
