A very entertaining Bout . Ofli employed a good strategy for fighting it out with his taller opponent namely being in constant motion (as a moving target is harder to hit ) and attempting to move out of range. However,Ofli was only able to close the distance on a few occasions to land some scoring punches. Ofli also did well to move in a circular motion but on occasions seemed to circle to his left into the range of Hardman's Right Hand Power Punch. But it was a well deserved Win by Hardman who landed more kicks and punches at speed and used his reach to good advantage. Hardman would have appeared to the Judges to have had Octagon Control and to be the more Aggressive Fighter. On the occasions that Ofli did manage to land some punches which hurt him Hardman maintained his composure and quickly turned the situation to his advantage for example getting into dominant position on the ground. It was good that neither young man appeared to sustain any obvious injury ( as no one would want any fighter to sustain injury despite the unavoidable risk of injury which all competitors accept in combat sports) Both young men are to be highly commended for their Skill , Tactical and Strategic Approach, Strength, Stamina,Courage , Good Sportsmanship and Mutual Respect and Toughness ( both Physical and Mental Toughness) in fighting it out to the finish in a gruelling bout. If they continue with a career in MMA I would wish them all the best and would hope they will never sustain any serious injury.
