Makes perfect sense to me if the game uses different metrics for custom vs real teams. A team that has 94 vs other real teams would not be a 94 vs a custom team composed of the best player that every position in the league for instance. Using that criteria combos of four teams coming out in the mid to upper 80s vs that theatrical all star team seems about right.

I have a suggestion for the next tournament before madden 18. Do a best draft class tournament. What I mean by that if you don't understand is like the all the best players from the year they were drafted on the same team. (Ex. Rookies vs 8 year pros)

One thing that bothers me is Keenan Allen being rated as the afc west top receiver. Dude has been off the field for two straight years due to injury and all the other afc west receivers have been available and making plays and what not.
