Detroit is loaded with what some believe the best roster in the NFL. Why not see it through? Ben Johnson realizes this may be his best chance+ I think he want a team that's ready to win now, like Dallas.

Like the podcast but the raiders preview isn't how you grow listeners into "millions and millions". Defensive roster is terrible? The corner room is a question mark, but overall that is an egregious take. Defense returns LB room, DL room, and starting safeties, guys who beat the champs singlehandedly on christmas eve and as Bobby pointed out are led by an exception d coordinator. A captivating topic would be hmmmm maybe comparing Antonio Pierces leadership/coaching style to say a Dan Cambell? Both ex players, are players coaches preach violence, intensity, and execution. Or maybe a discussion on Jack Jones, given his rise and relationship with AP... but yeah lets go with a fantasy land take on Adams to the Lions... y'all missed the mark, do better. Thank you.

I get it. Not everybody can go as in-depth as the knowledgable fans of the team being discussed. They won 8 games despite all of the chaos that went on, then upgraded the roster, yet, somehow they're going to win 8 games again? How does that make any sense. The rationale...Raiders had the #1 scoring defense after AP took over for the last nine games. They added Christian Wilkins to the DL in the offseason. After DE Chandler's mental breakdown and subsequent release they started Tyree Wilson. He was coming off of foot surgery and was not in football shape yet. Graham moved him to the inside and started Malcolm Koonce. Koonce responded with eight sacks. He's a great pairing with Crosby at DE. Wilson is now in great shape and is built like a monster. Rumor is that they will play him outside and inside. Add to that Jenkins and Butler for depth and you have one of the best DL in the league. Outside of one cornerback spot, they do have a lot of depth on defense. Now for the offense...the Bears made Getsy play a certain style of offense. Adams swears by him, since he played under him in Green Bay. They turned the offensive line into a strength. They will run running back by committee. They have a very good wide receiver core. And now, potentially, the best tight end pair in the league. At QB, O'Connell ended the last five games with 9TD and 1INT. He's accurate, has a good arm, and smart. The only question mark on him is will he be mobil enough. On only needs to look at his highlight tape to answer that. Regardless, he spent the entire offseason working on strength and lateral movement. So seriously, the Raiders, the last team to beat KC in KC, are expected to be a playoff team.

How are the chargers overrated You can't say anything positive about the chargers anywhere without somebody taking your position that's not overrated. That's just some people's personal problem of not being able to hear anything positive about the Chargers ever.

It doesn't matter what devonte Adam wants if the team wants him there he will be there. For a second year quarterback davante Adams is perfect. I don't see him requesting a trade at all like ever. But I do see them maybe trading him but definitely not this season

Ben Johnson talking about wanting to get a 2nd contract sounds like an excuse for just wanting to stay a coordinator and be the 2nd fiddle to the coach. Coaching and GM jobs become available because they aren’t good situations, and they get turned around by coaches and GM that are good. The greatest example of that is the Lions a few years ago. That place was a S hole. People were laughing at Dan Campbells opening presser. It got turned around because of good coaching and a good front office. Another being the Rams when McVay got there. After that rookie year with Goff it didn’t look so great. If he’s comfortable being a coordinator then good for him but talking about a second contract is the reason he didn’t take a job is already doubting his own leadership.

This is how it's going to go. The Chiefs are number one until other teams prove that they can beat them. Second is going to be the Raiders who have only gotten better on both sides of the ball. By you saying that they have no talent on defense shows everybody what you know about the Raiders and football which is absolutely nothing. Third is going to be the chargers who have only gotten worse and got rid of Justin Herbert's two main receivers. Who is he going to throw to harbaugh? They also got rid of their running back. And their defense is old and always hurt. In last place is going to be the Denver broncos. The broncos haven't beaten the Raiders like in almost 5 years. The broncos quarterback room isn't great. And they really haven't done anything in the off-season and they're still in salary Cap hell. Like I know you hate on the Raiders just for clicks and just for reactions what you're getting right now so good job. But be a realistic you know the Raiders were in almost every single game last season even with mcdumbass. Harbaugh is going to need at least one or two seasons to try to get his team the way he wants it so I see them sucking this year. Jared stidham or bo nix it doesn't matter they're both going to suck ass for at least another year.

Explain how the Raiders roster is bad? The Raiders have a good cornerback room a good safety room a decent linebacking corps and a hell of a good defensive line. On offense they have one of the best wide receivers along with the one of the best number two receivers. And they arguably have probably the best tight end Duo already. They upgraded on their offensive line and they're running back came on late last season in the final four games and show that he can be a number one running back. The only question is the quarterback. With a offseason under his belt and a decent backup the quarterbacks they just have to play decent for the Raiders to win. Because the defense is a great roster. And I see them what the top 10 defense at worst. So you guys need to do more research instead of just looking up stats or spending 2 minutes on each team.

@@alex.p2194 so they won 8 games last year what's a rookie quarterback that started week 5 with no first-team reps and no off-season. With make dumbass play book. Also Josh Jacobs being hurt four five games. So now he has a off-season with first-team reps and a better understanding of a playbook I fully expect him to be better than last season. And if the Raiders have a top 5 defense all they need is average quarterback play. The defense is going to be a monster. Maxx, Wilkins, Wilson, Koonce, Jenkins and Butler. Every year they pick the chargers to be second or even first and they always suck. Every year they say the Raiders are going to finish last and every year they finish second

I also think the chargers gonna be better, Good coaching matters. Watching them the last few years and it was mainly bad coaching and harbaugh is just proven man

@@victoranguiano7401 Herbert with a better system around him him is going to make the receivers better(if what most people think Herbert ceiling is) and that people overrate every tag, sure but next year and the future with a elite coach is going to be different. I also think they’re second with the potential to be 1st. Raiders ceiling once again is 8 win no matter and that’s if y’all lucky

The Chargers seem like the most overrated team heading into next season. They lost their top 2 receivers, too TE and too RB. They are relying on old defensive players. I don’t think they have the talent to rely on their defense or their running game. I would be shocked if the Chargers, who don’t even have a home field advantage win 8 games let alone 10. Harbaugh is good, but there is still a decent talent deficiency.

Honesty yes as a team they are looking at the start of a rebuild in a new vision but with two tackles and a quarterback already looking nice in place now. Roster overall now says like 6 or 7 wins but get ready to learn run game buddy. Probably will be an 8 or 9 win team imo with Harbaugh but I don't think they'll make the playoffs year 1 with how stacked the AFC is

Mike Williams is plain and simple injury prone. Allen was relatively injury prone too. Not to mention Herbert was out for 4 games last year. Easton stick played the last 4 games.

The chargers offense is going to suck ass. Justin Herbert is going to be throwing to harbaugh. And we all know Justin Herbert is overrated. He has always had talent ever since he came into the league and done absolutely nothing with it I don't care who is coaches he should be making the plays that are called. He's pretty much a blonder Derek Carr all stats no wins

They have a decent core of pass catchers. Palmer is solid. Mcconkey will at minimum put up good numbers and chark is solid. Hayden hurst and parham are good pass catching tes. Yall make up nonsense.

@@BlackDeath920 besides Parham they really don't strike fear in the defense. Herbert may be a top 15 quarterback but he has shown nothing with all the talent that he has had in the past
