Installed successfully on 2014 Z51. This is a TIGHT FIT. Because of the lower water hose from the radiator. Suggest installing from the plenum to the intake duct on the fender wall. If you lose or damage screws you will find matches on the factory component. I found the biggest difference in the low end, under 2500 RPM, its quicker from 0-35 mph and does sound deeper. Worth the money. I didnt find any stickers or plate frame in my box. Thanks for the great detail Tony.

I put mine in today, good video. Same thing happened to me that sent one of the nuts into the engine and is hopefully wedged in somewhere where it won't do too much damage (they are not made of metal so my magnet wouldn't pick it up). It does not easily fit into my 2016 Stingray, there was a lot of finessing that had to be done. The mass air flow sensor is dangerously close to one of the radiator hoses. We shall see if it rubs too much. I probably should have went with a different brand for better fit.

I did not notice any gains from it.. going back in time I would have just done a k and n filter maybe

I've been thinking about getting the aFe intake on my car as well. Just a BMS drop in filter and Borla Xpipe made somewhere around 40 more torque over stock so this should be even more!

It sucks! lol hace to take the tube off the throttle body and pull out the filter on the other end It isnt fun

@@josearaiza903 so im not a fan of re-oiling ill wash it when i remember but i feel if you re oil you need to either have another on stand-by while it takes a week or so for the first one to dry out otherwise it fouls maf sensors and stuff. I dont think the microns the oil catches mater all that much anyway but thats just me

Great video. I am considering installing the cold air intake on my 2019 C7 LT2. I'm always nervous working on my own vehicles for fear of damaging them. Did you ever find the bolt you lost? LOL.

I did the afe momentum with a corsa xtreme. Sounds beautiful. My filter seems to slide out of the casing though. Because it’s smooth plastic on smooth plastic. Do you have this issue?

I have not the filter looks to be in the same place, I did not notice any huge performance jumps from it though.

T Mogo116 That’s a ridiculously good price for an aFe product. Glad to hear you had a nice opportunity! Waiting for pandemic to be over or at least close to being over to buy a C7 as Idek how much 2021 could get worse 😂 saving all my car accident money til early-mid 2021
