No Dislikes. No Negative Comments. That's how it should fucking be for a band that's real, talented, really talented and passionate in Affiance! I like the previous albums and the digestibility of the lyrics (I'm super-particular about lyrics and their message), but for me this record clicked instantly. Every song captivates for its distinct reasons, and every song has a recurring central message that, I think, should always be the goal for music. How do you offer insights that could help redeem us as individuals, a nation, and most importantly, as a race? Those are the kinds of things musicians should address more often. These guys are very proud of the stands they take about social justice and equality, & I embrace that because they highlight these underlying concerns that resonate within us on a fundamental level. From songs like Darkest, No Peace, In Justice, Monuments Fail, to Limitless, Blackout, & Fire!! This album kills everything in its path & does it so well because Affiance is amazing like that. :)
