This band is fucking untouchable!! EVERY note they play is executed with utmost skill & passion! Affiance has the complex, modern sound commingled with vocals that are reminiscent of another era simply because Dennis's operatic tone isn't commonplace in the world of rock and metal! I found these guys two years ago & I have not looked back or called it into question. These guys should be a mainstay in the music industry!! Affiance blends new and old, stern and fun and continue to innovate with every little idiosyncrasy they concoct! Lyrics of societal concerns and introspective streams of thought are validation in themselves, & in time, they will receive the credit and acclaim they've always deserved! AFFIANCE RULES! Intervals, Protest The Hero, Monuments(especially new album, first was more groove and heavy), Periphery, Red Seas Fire, Means End. I don't think any of these bands I listed are metalcore but all have similar vocal style of Affiance and also have awesome guitar solos.

The funny thing is I discovered these guys from Killswitch Engage back in 2013. During the Disarm the Descent tour. Eventually I saw them again when they supported there new album Blackout in 2014. Affiance is seriously going places. They really need to be playing in big ass venues soon. One of the best live shows you'll ever go to.
