Just heard this song by these beautiful ladies.....I was in tears as this was my mum's favourite Christmas Carole, she always cried when she heard this....she use to sing it to my little brother before he passed on into GOD'S care at 20 months of age. This was a lullaby for my soul, like resting in the arms of angels. This time 6 years ago, we discovered our foster daughter’s leukemia had returned. We (my wife and I and Olivia’s bio mom) had six more months with her before she went home to rest in those angel arms. I will share this with her bio mom, I know it will bless her also. Olivia was the sweetest little girl. She always had a smile for others, and the hugs she gave would make your day! Even after 13 rounds of chemo she still found things to be cheerful about. We’ve been incredibly blessed by having her in our lives. There were so many people that surrounded us with love and support, we were able to concentrate on Olivia. Family and friends, her doctors, and the wonderful nursing staff at our hospital - we would not have made it with all of them. I still get tears in my eyes when I think of her arms around my neck hugging me for all she was worth.

I had sung this tune in English, German & French. I have no idea how I knew the Gaelic verse upon the first hearing of this, singing along as it played.
