You my friend have saved me from such a headache, I also have found this works even in "Pixel Persona" as it allows me to Sketch in mirror. Now I don't have to switch between Krita and Affinity when I need to create something symmetrical . Thank you SO MUCH SUBSCRIBED.

It could be a 2 min. video. Even at 2x speed it was painful watching :D

Love the way you present material. You show detail and why you are doing it in a particular way. You also show alternate approaches. More of the same please. :) I will be monitoring your space. Thank you !

Is something like this available for Affinity Photo? Looking to draw symmetric pen lines ...
@RoryTownsendTV3 жыл бұрын
Not sure, I'm a lazy photo user, so never get to experiment much to find out if those features exist

There is a Symmetry menu in Photo.

Rory, I’m new to affinity and have been pulling my hair out looking for a mirror object. Thanks for this lesson. I’m on iPad so there’s a few different ways to look for the tools but hey ho. Cheers

Why in the world is it this complex to have a mirror image effect in this program? I truly wish designer was streamlined and easier to use like autodesk sketchbook but with the vector ability. I don’t know why these higher end design programs can’t be as easy as that.

I thumbed-down your video for this reason: - ‘Space Horizontally/Vertically’ No! Although my rectangles are/were both selected, and all other alignment tools are available, the spacing icon is grayed-out. I have no idea why this would be the case. Spending time to tech-support the program to understand when this option is or is not available is outrageous!
