For those watching this in 2021 and beyond... As of Photo 1.9, Liquify became a non destructive filter (aka Smart Filter for PS users) so now one can revisit the edits.

Hi Richard! Great Tutorial! Thanks! One observation I'd like to share is how floating "windows" are also commonly referred to as "Pallets" Whereas the main "page" or "file" is the "window".

Interesting - I wish they allowed for users to create their own persona. For example, I would like a persona to allow me to run luminar 4 on a specific layer. I and many others would like a luminar 4 plugin for AP for MAC. I choose to think of Persona's as internal apps to photoshop, that allows for sharing a layer. This is nothing more than a packaging issue, they could have been pull down menus that changed the tool bar or added additional tool bars.

This is not because of Affinity. Luminar would first have to update their software to allow it to work with Affinity.

Luminar photoshop plugins work with ap for Windows not mac and I think serif needs to investigate. My work around is to use keyboard Maestro app and it's sloppy

The only missing things now would be: PixelArt Persona and Animation Persona (if there's a sensible way to cram that in) and Affinity will take over the world. ... or just let the guys take care of a subset of tasks and not bloat the software too much actually.

Affinity does have pixel art in photo. Just turn on the pixel button on the tool bar. I don't think they will do animation.
