For those of you using subtitles; I tested out the new subtitles generator in Davinci Resolve 18.5 Does this make your watching experience even better? Let me know and I will keep adding subtitles to my videos going forward

Thanks for the review! Good work! I bought the Leica 10-25 and 25-50 for wedding videography and for that use, I would still choose the Leicas for the constant f1.7 aperture, weather sealing, no need for manually inputting the IBIS focal length, much lower weight, nearly zero chromatic aberrations and fantastic usability for when I want to take pictures with the blisteringly fast autofocus.

Thanks! I totally get why you got the set of Leica lenses. Especially if you use autofocus a lot. I’ll probably get them as well some day, next to my DZOs

very helpful and actually specific review - for people as myself who do not use gimbals and else, I am good with ibis, so to dive into the focal length / ibis settings is a very good point to balance. thanks!

Another great video, you recovered the audio very well. Interesting lenses, not sure I’m ready for cine lenses yet.
@RedFrameTech Жыл бұрын
Thanks! The audio was a challenge 😅 Yeah, I can imagine you’re not ready for cine lenses. Also took me a while to get to that point. But very happy with the results I’m getting. That doesn’t mean that I will be only using cine lenses though. My PL 12-60 is still one of my favourites

Very informative video as always! I really appreciated the part on the ibis thank you! The problem is... that I found the zhyongi much better 😂 relly creamy.... the dzo looked too sharp and harsh, maybe was the exposure I don't know...
@RedFrameTech Жыл бұрын
😄 The Zhongyi does look creamy and soft. That’s partly due to the wide aperture though. I’ll be doing a full review on that one as well And the second angle with the dzo looks a bit harsher indeed. But it’s a very contrasty shot due to the overexposure 😅 and that can look like sharpness. Thanks for watching!

I started to work on audiovisual and photography area since a year or so. Studied digital animation, growing slowly and trying to get more equipment. I bought this lens for my GH4 which I use with tripod, not the best tripod for the weight of this lens, but it is supposed to be able to hold the weight of the body and the lens. Saw the 16:20 and I wonder which accesories with low cost can fit on my setup; I was thinking on buying a YELANGU D221 and mount it on tripod, or getting video head (since I have x-go chameleon e tripod). By other hand, I already have a basic shoulder rig (which is really really similar to YELANGU YLG0107D) that I was going to disarm so I can optimize it for holding the lens, and mount it on the tripod. Which advices can you give me based on this? Thanks in advance.

Great to hear you're getting more into video and photo! I have some SmallRig lens supports that slide onto the two 15mm rods of my rig. They work pretty well and don't cost much. If you also get two rods and a base plate for the rods to go into, you've got yourself a basic tripod rig with lens support. Thanks so much for watching!
@delcurto_fa5 күн бұрын
@@RedFrameTech I ended up using a shoulder rig into the tripod header (I manually removed a nut and worked). Looks funny, but it hold the lens. I expect that changing my header in future, for another one, that supports more weight and works specifically for fluid video, is my way to go. Thanks for the feedback, best regards from Chile! ~By the way, very accurate review of the lens. I already did my first work with it a few days ago and is just awesome.

Hey great vid!! Would like to ask for your opinion. I'm torn between Sigma 18-35 w/ metabones or DZO 20-70mm. I'm mainly shooting outside without controlled lighting and sometimes with lowlight situations. Having the DZO as t2.9 for MFT, how does it work in lowlighr situations? Like for instance I'd like to shoot in a Carnival at night. Would it make hard for me to have a decent shot?
@RedFrameTech Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have shot with the DZOs at night time, outside, with only one little light and got decent results (GH6). But the Sigma+speedbooster will give you considerably more light. Also depends on the camera body. I’m assuming a GH6? I wouldn’t go for the DZO if you want to shoot low light with a GH5 or G9. Hope that helps!

Love the idea of those cine lenses. But currently using a 16-35 2.8 L from canon with my trusty 0,64speedbooster. And to be able to get a 20-45mm +- and 1.8 apature and canon colors and slight blooming. Havent found anything that can replace that. Tried the 10-25 but to sharp and a bit un-natural looking. Imo.
@RedFrameTech Жыл бұрын
Never tried that combo. Sounds good. I think the range would be a bit limited for me, but a 1.8 aperture is nice 👍 About the 10-25; good to know. I suspected that
@wietseveen3615 Жыл бұрын
@@RedFrameTech there is also the 17-55 2.8. But i like zooms that don’t zoom in and out for a matte box setup.
