Hi Melissa, I could not tell the difference in the powder, blush or the lipsticks. You really hit the nail on the head with those matches. I love Colourpop palettes better than others too. Love these videos! Thank you so much for going the extra mile to find lower cost alternatives. I would caution ordering lipstick from Amazon, I did, it was just loose in a larger box and it was a Melted mess, I tried to repair and put in fridge for a few days, but that did not work, I can use with a lipstick brush only.

I’m so in love with the Dior Powder no Powder! I hate that it was discontinued😢!!! So I am definitely thinking about getting the Laura Mercier if they have a good shade match for me! Also, thanks so much for comparing the different brushes to one another❣️I literally have some Rephr brushes and BK Beauty brushes that I haven’t even used yet because I have so many great drugstore options. The Elf angled brush is still my go to for powder blushes and I use a bunch of eco tool brushes for cream applications, etc. The one BK Beauty brush I use is the big fluffy one for finishing powder(My Dior Powder no Powder) until it’s done. I can’t explain why I don’t use my high end brushes😢I feel like I don’t deserve to for some reason 😂Great video, Melissa 🥰

I caught that sale too and glad I did. I had a few BK Beauty brushes and the ones I liked best were not the ones I expected to. I think their face brushes (of the ones I’ve tried) are superb. I have been waiting for a number of years to get a deal on the red handled original travel set and the 50% off sale convinced me to pull the trigger. I’ve only tested each brush out once so far but I’m liking the set overall. I still think I prefer the face brushes to the eye brushes but that’s a me thing I’m sure. I feel the opposite way about Sigma where I’ve had more luck with eye brushes although nothing is awful just a preference for what works on my face. That said, I’m all for inexpensive dupes or drug store brushes like Real Techniques, especially when starting out in makeup to learn what you like or to have spares. I think value is key. Brushes you use and wash a lot, go for high end quality that lasts; brushes you use less or don’t need as much scrubbing, cheaper version work just fine. Learned all this the hard way.

Thanks for your comments/reviews on all these products and giving us dupes for the high endones. I wish Çànada had the same prices as the US - for example the IT Cosmetics brush is $50 Çànadian. PLEASE excuse the French accènts - for some reason my PC has decided to use them. I have tried everything and nothing helps.

I bought into the hype about BK brushes that all influencers push so much one way or another….so ended up buying the foundation brush….well, it’s only good enough for my bronzer…nothing beats my Vella yue angled powder foundation brush from amazon…it costs $7 and it’s simply the best. @@kathleenp3135 yes, the blush brush and the powder brushes are lovely too, then at one point they had a white one in the shape of a rose and it’s my go to for my powders. They are so soft, beautifully made, they truly outperform all my high end ones….and I have many….

Love you Lady!!! Great video......loved it. BTW Vegas was around 95-99 degrees every single day. Laid by the pool all 5 days and got 2 -100 minute massages!!! That was my worthy splurge instead of more makeup and un=needed handbags. Also today is our 22nd wedding anniversary. So, we used Vegas as our anniversary trip. Great video 😊I have the It cosmetics heavenly luxe brush for about 4 years but it’s beginning to shed and it’s no longer usable. I bought a cheaper one from Jessup which is fine. I don’t think it’s necessary to buy expensive brushes.
