I tried your same settings for the coin image on a brass coin I bought in bulk on Amazon. I let the machine run for an hour and it still didnt leave any engraving. It was barely marked. I have no idea what Im doing wrong, but I feel like I've adjusted every setting I could find and it just wouldnt remove any material. Im thinking about just returning the machine.

It might be that the focus is slightly too high or too low. Then it looks like its working, but its not actually doing much. Thats just my though. Since the focus point it very very narrow

I cannot get mine to leave a mark on most stones. I have triple checked the focus, settings, etc. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It engraves everything else just fine.

What speed and power settings you are using? And what kind of stone?

@JTMakesIt i have tried low and high power, low and high frequency, I have tried a variety of stones. Worst part is, I have seen videos of 20w fiber lasers doing deep stone engraving. So I'm truly baffled as to why I can't get mine to leave more than a faint mark.

@@scanchrisyeg try different stone. It should be able to mark stone easily at 500mm/s and fullcpower. Does it engrave metals normally?

@@scanchrisyeg this is very strange. I never had any problems with stone on any fiber laser, even with 2W infrared diode laser there was never a problem. did you try dark and smooth stones too?

Purchased one, Looked used when it arrived, I too could not connect to wifi, The USB sent with it, had the incorrect Config. Information. The Fixed cable from power supply to laser head had a short or bad connection causing the laser head to sometimes not turn on with the power supply. The only thing I asked for was a replacement be sent with an RA number so I would not have down time. Answer was no, So I ordered a different brand while dealing with the return. Not yet a company I want to deal with.

Hello there, I loved your video. I had a parcel arrive today and it was blocks so now I know what they are for! I was wondering if you could help me. I have the same machine but the 110mm version. I really want to engrave rings (inside and out) however, I cannot seem to do it. I have the chuck tool and the rotary tool. I have asked g.weike to help, but I don't get very far. The rotary tool spins as it should, but the writing is just a mess. Do you have a rotary tool? Have you gotten it to work? Do you have any advise. Thank you for your time. X

What are your settings? Is the machine in focus? What do you mean by engravings are a mess?

Are you filling\hatching the text for the wrench? What settings are you using please?

Yes it is hatched. For general engraving, 500-1000mm/s, 30kHz, 30-100% power, 0.03-0.05mm hatch. Experiment to see what works best

Are you able to add attachments for cylindrical objects? Such as rings?

Yes, check the link link in description and you will see that they are also selling rotary attachment especially made for small objects like rings.

I have reviewed ComMarker B4 too. You can watch my video. ComMarker has smaller focus spot and supports Lightburn, this one is more versatile since the head is separate. It depends what you need.

It works great on steel. If you let it run for multiple passes it can go pretty deep.

Watch my review of the F1 too. In my opinion, the F1 is easier to use because of the xTool software and it is more versatile since it can engrave wood too, but for strictly metal engraving, the G2 is much more powerful. (You can check my review of ComMarker fiber laser too, to het a hang on what fiber lasers can do)
