Alike to all the others that have been watching your videos.. I finally gave in and bought a spray gun and gave it a go spraying my mx5 (miata to you) eunos and thanks to watching quite literally hours of your videos it turned out really good, there is dust in the paint etc but it just can't be avoided in my barn.. No matter how many sheets I put down! Thankyou so much for your videos though, really interesting to watch. 👍😁

Thank you for commenting on the air pressure being lower than HVLP. I bought of these and went to set air pressure and it maxed out at 20psi. Ended up clearing the fender at 12psi for a very beautiful finish that matched factory peel perfectly.

Well, I have to say I'm impressed!! I have sprayed everything from epoxy primer to silver metallic base to clear coat and it all spays really well!! Just used this gun for the first time and I have not painted a car in over 4 years. This gun was by far THE BEST GUN I HAVE EVER OWNED !! WOW it laid out the paint nice and smooth, no runs, no sags, Just flat even coverage !! The paint droplets got a little large as the temps heated up into the high 80's using a medium reducer and activator, but that was my fault for not having a slow set up for a hot day. The gun laid the clear on extremely well and it flattened right out even at these high temps. I am floored, the gun looked cheap when I got it, but it is my go to gun now !! I give the gun 100% of the credit on this one as I know what my capabilities have been in the past !! If your a hobbyist like me on painting, GET THIS GUN !! you will not be disappointed. THANKS BRIAN, if it were not for your videos, I would NOT have purchased this gun. I can't wait for my next paint project and it was the one thing I never looked forward to doing.

I picked up a Devilbis FLG-5 (apparently can't "get" them in the US, got it imported from some sort of island of weird speaking southern british people) for like 110$. I sprayed water through it. It's amazing how well it atomizes. Also, For those who have really small compressors and want to do a small job, I picked up a few years ago, a Grizzly H7666 I believe was the part number (one with a plastic grip, don't know if they make it any more) only uses about 4 CFM, my 29 gallon (oiled, harbor freight, BELT DRIVE) easily keeps up with that, and does a decent job of keeping up with the FLG5. I'll have to check out this astro if I ever get around to needing it.

Brian, First I want to thank you for what your doing. I have learned a lot from your videos. I am more of a hobby painter, I paint for my family and friends. I started painting about 12 years ago, and have done a few projects to include full cars and I get the same result most of the time. I purchased two Blue Point Spray Guns from snap-on, one is a 1.3 and the other 1.4. I was just wondering if you have ever used a blue point gun. I always get orange peel, and was wondering if there is anything, other than buying another gun, I can do to reduce the amount of orange peel. Thanks Paul
