Haven't commented in a long while, RuthAnne, but steadily watching and enjoying your videos. Just wanted to tell you - you are not alone - I had a horrible January, February and half of March too - sick as a dog. I had some unknown virus that flattened me for a month and then a really bad case of Covid - just under hospitalization level. I'm so glad you're better - and glad I'm better too! Spring is more than welcome this year althought here in the Midwest it's been an odd one - warm but then cold again - warm and then cold again. Yikes.

I have three of the Skin Musk oils. 😂 You got me started on skin musk and then I found the oil from the same channel as you. Amazon has a three pack 😉 Man I love the scent of this perfume in both the oil and spray. I wear it for myself to smell lol. It's just so cozy and clean.

So glad one of your videos was recommended a few weeks ago. Have been mini-binging your content. Great seeing your appreciation (and usage) of tried and true frags. Cristalle was my first perfume love waaay back in the day. Still have a vintage dusting powder that I just sniff occasionally. 😂 Will get a bottle again…someday. For now, Peace, Love and JC is holding me over. Like you, I’m not into the folks spending hundreds if not thousands on niche every month. I can’t and won’t go down that road lol. I hope you feel better, Ruth Anne. I have been zapped with 3 illnesses back to back, and I am now fighting a lingering cough. I sat down with a cup of hot tea and saw this video. Skin Musk is one of my all time favorite perfumes. It was originally by Bonne Bell Cosmetics, and I fell in love with it at the age of 12. I believe it is the first perfume I ever bought for myself, and I have bought countless bottles of both the spray and the oil since that time. It also came in a spray canister form. I really enjoy your channel. Many thanks for sharing.

Amethyst is one of the gems in my collection, the more I use it , the more I love it. I can perceive that greenness that some people dislike, but for me makes the perfume more natural, like if you are walking through a humid forest and there are berrie bushes everywhere. I simply love it. I'll give an eye to Liz Clairbone perfumes 😘

It sounds as if you would like Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion if you like Amethyst - though passion doesn’t have any green notes. It’s only $30 here in Australia. The best buy here at the moment is Charlie blue- all my female friends and family get that one for gifts. It’s only $7 here on sale.

Amethyst looks interesting. Is there another well known perfume that is similar, just to get a reference point. Jovan Musk, takes me back, one high school friend wore Jovan Grass oil. It was heavenly. It is priced like a unicorn on ebay. I so wish Jovan would produce the Grass Oil again. I wanna say Prada Iris has something similar to it. It must have been based on iris butter, probably became too expensive to make. Thanks for your fun videos.
