Before I saw this video, I have not been well-informed about Afghan traditional clothing. I thought all along that Afghan women wore the burqa as part of their traditional dress, but then I realised it was only since the Taliban came to power that women were forced to wear the burqa. Before that in the 1960s, I found out that Afghan women wore Western clothing and hardly any burqa was seen and most didn't wear the hijab. Now, it's nice to see traditional Afghan clothing for the first time, which is something the Taliban have tried to destroy and not let you see.
