Its the same as with Bungie's Halo "A Walk in the woods" its awesome to hear the same melody but in a different way. It should always stay that way for games to have reoccurring soundtracks which can familiarize the player with game and add in something new.

Personally I find the BF3-BF4 Theme to be the most rewarding ever. Even if it has more of that electronic part, it's just the way the song builds up, you don't feel that in all the other songs. THey are all amazing, but the build up of Battefield 3 and 4 is legendary! It just builds up that suspense and then it drops, you can already imagine yourself dropping in the middle of the battle, guns blazing, everyone fighting for their lives and to liberate your home from the invasion. It's just an epic fucking feeling, just listening to them gives me instant shivers.

Battlefield 2, 2142, Battlefield 3 & 4 and Battlefield V are very good theme songs. It all began with 1942, it’s simple almost like a parade of soldiers playing that song, ready to go to war. Battlefield 3 and 4 modernized the older style of the theme song with that creating the drop element (modern pop music tho) I like this pompous element and how it is combined with the older orchestral element in Battlefield V’s theme song, it is almost the perfect theme song of all to me! Battlefield has always delivered good music 👍

I honestly haven’t played many Battlefield games, but after playing BF1, I’ll probably buy 3, 4, and maybe even Hardline. I do like the BF1 theme, but Battlefield 2’s theme just takes the cake. Battlefield 4... I love that theme song the most... I sunk too many hours into that game. AND I REGRET NOTHING! Time to do the same in BFV, I honestly do not care if it’s historically inaccurate or not. I just needed a new battlefield game. BF1 was not good for me for reasons I don’t feel like stating. It's pretty notable that this and the Terminator theme get confused when humming them, both equally iconic theme songs for their respective franchise. This is the best theme song of any shooter, more so than even Halo. The comrodery is unmatched.

Thank you BF1942 for laying the base foundation for the greatest theme song to war game in the history of games. Every other theme was a mere revised version of the out standing original. My all time favorite is BF3 with no question but I'll never ever thank BF1942 for laying the ground work
