My favorite level...the nostalgia is so strong. It is taking me back to those cold autumn/winter afternoons...hot chocolate, cozy sweatpants, warm socks, and playing this game on my brother’s PS2...those definitely were the days. (Sigh)

The Nostalgia I feel as a Dutchman. This is the game I loved as a child. Especially this level, portraying our beautiful old Holland - the country of our grandparents. This game did such a good job on that. Games nowadays feel soulless compared to it.

This level has now made me go down and fetch a drink. One of the things I liked about this game & which is something thats lacking from more modern FPS is that the enemies have personality, how they are programmed as drinking, smoking and you're able to listen into their conversations. I love that level of detail compared to the normal faceless goons which you just mow down in later MOH games.

It's as though they were programmed to react visually rather than by sound. Example: the player is heard shooting they continue as normal or just run back and forth as if to say their losing their minds. Example: the player is visually located and it's pretty much over for the player There was balancing issues in the A.I intelligence but they are by no means a pushover they gave me a terrible time on hard mode which is by no means a cakewalk.

funny bug, on the xbox, if you keep on pressing the action button when knocking down the beer glasses, they will just keep on climbing in the air and when you stop they will just fall all the way down to the scripted spot.

"A beer for my friend!" Always found it odd that the player is dressed as a German officer, yet the two guards at the bar see the player as a Dutch civilian, and tell you to get lost.

No, they see him as either a young officer, or a young soldier and they think he shouldn't be at a bar that late, or with other high ranked men, at least that's how it seems

I seem to remember playing parts of this level in stealth mode, timing the enemy’s patrols and hiding in doorways and back alleys.... so atmospheric and tense. There’s a silenced gun with very little ammo? Wonderful stuff.

If there's one thing I find odd about this game looking back after all these years, its that they never gave us the ability to use the Kar-98, which most of the Germans were still using. Yes the Gehwer 43 was being issued, by the time of the events of this game, but the Kar-98 would have been more prominant. I can only guess resource limitations, and they had already put in the Springfield. So what would be the point of another bolt action

Hey AFguides It took me 4 weeks to beat medal of honor frontline hd on hard mode with an extra 1 week to earn gold medals in all missions in the game on easy/hard. and I can say without a shadow of a doubt THE GOLDEN LION ON HARD!! is what will either make you or break you it took me 5 days to beat this mission on hard mode and by the time I had reached the pub I was almost crying because of just how angry I was at this mission it left my health with a sliver of red at the end and that's not the worst part. I had to begin the next mission operation Rapunzel with the exact same health the golden lion left me with because I was playing on hard and health does carry over. how do you think I felt on ROUGH LANDING due to the escort mission segment. but anyway fast forward to 5 weeks later I got my platinum trophy :D
