I know it is a game but the mission going through stealthily on rooftops of any cities in South Asia, like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh is not possible in that kind of military gear. You will have 1000 people lined up to see you and your "stealth" mission will turn into a circus. We live our life here on rooftops, drying cloths, chillies, spices, everything is done on rooftop 🙂

Ghost Recon is a good game by Pakistani standards. But that is an incredibly low bar we set for what we call a good game. By American standards these ghost recon games do not even get a 6 by most reviewers in rating. But they do have that cult following. What you pointed out were multiple problems in this game. Of course games sometimes sacrifice realism for fun gameplay (It's a design choice), it is useful to know about the culture and ways of the area. These games feel foreign to us for this reason. They are a westerners view of how they see us. Not our view of how we see ourselves. Africa btw is even worse on the map of gaming. In the entire gaming industry around only 3% of the staff is black. In short, rich and poor countries have a divergence in the world of gaming.

Peshawar is in the Iranic north western part of Pakistan. It's In close proximity of Afghanistan and somewhat close to Tajikistan. I know Persian isn't exactly accurate but it's not foreign to this region in particular.
