It's not that big, Wedge has appeared in almost every type of media so far, books? He's main character in Aftermath, and important in a few others. Games? Here he is, and he has a role in a mission in Squadrons. Movies? Shows? He had 2 episodes with him as the star in Rebels (and cameos in others) He wasn't in Rogue one(as far as I know) but his old version was in Ep9. So...not bad

I like how this game is super-accurate with ships matching the most recent proper real-world releases. In this video's case they used the 2018 lego X-Wing and the Solo movie TIE Fighter. We haven't had a proper Vader's TIE Advanced in foreeeeeveeeer (and the last one was too small-scaled, like the current X-Wing and TIE fighter), so I'm wondering if we will see one in the future soon and The Skywalker Saga gave us a sneak-peek of it......

We know Wedge contributed quite a bit (and kept Luke alive at least twice as often as Han did)- Farlander/Verlaine/whomever it was (depending on which timeline you follow/prefer)...? Not sure. (Though frankly, I wouldn't begrudge them a medal for their actions.) (And, of course, there's the question of Green/Blue squadron, and if there were any survivors in their ranks, (I believe they were engaged elsewhere- trying to damage the superlaser output couplers/lenses, I believe))

@@Sephiroth144 I would doubt the Y-Wing was dogfighting, given it’s… a Y-Wing. Blue Squadron, as of Rogue One, was either entirely wiped out or incredibly downsized. A good number of Blue Squadron was beneath the shield gate of Scarif when the Rebel fleet left. I assume the survivors were reassigned into Red Squadron, or left in reserve on Yavin IV. Red Squadron was still short staffed, as Luke claimed the Red Five callsign. No idea about Green Squadron, though.

the Death star was large enough to create a mass shadow most likely. Before Disney messed with star wars hyperspace mechanics, a ship would have to be far enough away from a planet to engage the hyperdrive, as gravity wells (i.e. mass shadows) created by planets and moons disallowed hyperdrives to engage. That's why in the original and prequal trilogies, you ALWAYS saw ships leave some difference from a planet or moon prior to engaging the hyperdrive. Otherwise the queen could have jumped to hyperspace from Naboo's atmosphere, and not risked flying through the blockade. Disney ruined this fundamental point of hyperspace travel in starting with Rogue One, which is great movie, just yeah they messed with star wars physics. And that's why the interdictor cruisers in Star Wars Rebels doesn't make sense, because it uses artificial gravity wells to pull ships out of hyperspace, and Rogue One, and The Rise Of Skywalker show that gravity wells have no effect on hyperdrives. It was a principle that plays well into the story telling, and Disney should have never messed with it. Another point is that it takes time to calculate a jump, and the first concern was to get far enough away from the Death Star, but they didn't have time to make the jump before being engaged by the TIE's on sentry duty.
